The reason I wrote "Window Pane"

The song is about lost of hope and desperation. A rainy night, and a lonely woman staring through her window, knowing that this is the way its going to be for the rest of her life. She is at the ledge and probably will never come back. It depicts where most of us have been and we were able to come back, but she isn't.
